Our Purpose

At Aasma, we are working to strengthen the women community by empowering them through various initiatives. Our special projects revolve around upliftment of the women community in underprivileged sections by providing them space and opportunity to sell their craft, employ them in small activities and  create awareness among them about important issues such as women’s health and legal rights.

The purpose of Aasma is to build a platform for the women living in India to challenge oppressive norms, conduct awareness programmes about sexuality and women’s hygiene, spread information about their legal rights and provide them with moral support to deal with their atrocities. Our aim is to make these women self-reliant, confident and dauntless, capable of fighting any circumstances and creating a sustainable life for themselves and their families, making this society, a gender-just and informed one.
